HymnCharts at a Glance >home
Does every song have an audio demo? No, we're currently recording all the arrangements.
Read more about it. Hear the currently recorded hymns by clicking the orange audio icon next to
the hymn name on the available files page.
Can I make CDs of the MP3s and give them
to my music team? Yes, that will help them learn the music
quickly. Our MP3s do not
have any copy protection
and can also be used on
any MP3 player. Please
note that not all arrangements
are recorded
yet. Read more about it
Can other people on my praise team log in
and download music? Yes, the website licence is for your entire
church. Simply create a generic username
and password and give it to your music team.
How many hymns are on the website? See a current list on the available files page.
Is there a limit to how many hymns you can
download? No, you can download and keep all the music
you want from HymnCharts, HymnChartsBAND or HymnChartsLITE. Plus you get one new arrangement each month.
What's the difference between HymnCharts
and the BAND and LITE versions? Basically, HymnCharts has everything...
4 part, 3 part, 2 part vocals, band, keyboard,
instrumental and audio tracks. BAND has 3 part vocals, keyboard and rhythm/chord
charts for the typical praise band-driven
worship, LITE has 2 part vocals [optional 3rd part alto]
for small choirs and a keyboard part. Here's a comparison list.
Can you change keys? Yes. All the arrangements come in both Acrobat
format and Finale formats. Finale and Sibelius
can open the files and change the key. If
you don't own Finale or Sibelius, you can
download the FREE Finale Notepad and change
key. Here's a Finale Notepad tutorial.
Do you have praise and
worship songs like
Here I Am to Worship? No, we only have public domain hymns (older
hymns like "Holy Holy Holy" and
"Blessed Assurance.") Here's a list of hymns on the website.
How much does HymnCharts cost? See a cost comparison of HymnCharts, HymnChartsBAND
and HymnChartsLITE.
