All Hail the Power was my first hymn arrangement I tried in
my own ministry back in 2002. Some people
were complaining that I wasn't including
enough hymns but I unfortunately found my
praise band couldn't play a hymn out of the
hymnal.
I transposed All Hail down to E, streamlined the chords and gave
it a little contemporary twist. It was a
smashing success that Sunday morning - my
25 year old guitarist asked "where'd
you get that new praise song?" and an
elderly lady told me she was thrilled we
had sung a hymn. HymnCharts.com was born!
Since then I've arranged over 100 hymns here
at HymnCharts. See a list.

Whatever your worship style, HymnCharts arrangements
fit! Hear the samples below.
At the core of each arrangement is a piano
part that can be played all by itself or
with an acoustic guitar and sound great -
perfect for groups and smaller ministries.
Add electric guitars, drums and bass and
you have a full sound that meshes with the
latest praise and worship songs.
Contemporary Worship:
A recent WorshipIdeas.com poll showed that
50% of churches have this style: praise band,
worship leader with a 3 part vocal praise
team SAT.
Modern Worship:
This style has heavy electric guitar with
a tenor male worship leader with a single
female backup.
Blended Worship:
Do you include orchestral
instruments with
your band? Each HymnCharts
arrangement comes
with C, Bb, Sax and synth
strings. Read more about our instrumental parts.
Simple Worship:
If your ministry is smaller and you don't
yet have a full band, start with piano/guitar
and add instruments as your praise team grows.
